Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival Delhi

Welcome upon arrival at Delhi International airport, after meet and assist services, transfer to Hotel.
Overnight stay at Hotel.

Meals:

Day 2 Delhi – Leh

Morning transfer to airport to board the flight for Leh (Flying time is about one and a half hour).
Arrive Leh – assistance and then transfer to Hotel.
Rest of the time stay inside the Hotel with all meals.
 Leh city altitude is 3524 Meter – 11562 feet from sea level. One has to stay one day inside the Hotel / home and take rest to get acclimatize with the local conditions / body will get use to this very high altitude. Just in case if one wants to go out on first day itself then chances of getting sick is high because of Acute Mountain Sickness.

Day 3 At Leh

Today proceed for full day local sightseeing. Visit :- Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Hemis Monastery and Thiksey Monastery.
Leh Palace – This is a former royal palace overlooking the Ladakhi Himalayan town of Leh.  Modelled on The Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, the palace was built by King Sengge Namgyal in the 17th century.
Shanti Stupa – The Shanti Stupa in Leh is a magnificent white-domed Buddhist monument located atop a steep hilltop at a dizzying height of 11,841 feet. It is a religious place for the Buddhists as it holds the relics of Buddha, consecrated by the 14th Dalai Lama. It is also popular amongst tourists as it offers a sweeping view of Leh and the nearby Changspa village.
Thiksey – Thiksey is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas. There are several temples in this Gompa Containing images, stupas and exquisite wall paintings. It also houses a two ? storied statue of Buddha which has the main prayer hall around its shoulder.
Hemis – which is dedicated to Padmasambhava, what a visitor can observes a series of scenes  in which the lamas, robed in gowns of rich, brightly colored brocade and sporting masks sometimes bizarrely hideous, parade in solemn dance and mime around the huge flag pole in the center of the courtyard to the plaintive melody of the Shawn.

Day 4 Leh - Nubra

After breakfast transfer to NUBRA VALLEY (160 km – about 5 hour drive) passes over Khardung La Pass (the highest motorable road in the world) at 5602 M / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh.

From the pass, one can see all the way south over the Indus valley to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. Nubra Valley is popularly known as (Ldumra) or (The valley of flowers). It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. The Shayok and Saichen Rivers drain Nubra.
Visit Diskit Monastery.
Enjoy Camel Ride / A T V ride in Nubra, white Sand dunes.
Overnight stay at Camp / Resort in Nubra.

Day 5 Nubra – Pangong Lake – Leh

Morning transfer to Pangong Lake (160 km – 5 hour drive).
Today enjoy full day Trip to one of the World’s most beautiful Lake – Pangong Lake.
Pangong Lake, a highest salt water lake in the World, Shared by two countries India (about 40%) & China (about 60%), enjoy the beauty of lake on banks of the lake while appreciating the changing colours of fascinating high altitude lake.
The altitude of Pangong Lake is 4225 meter (13862 feet) from the sea level. This lake is 134 km long and 5 km wide.
Later transfer to Leh (160 km – 4-5 hour drive).     
Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 6 At Leh

Today proceed for full day local sightseeing visiting – Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, Sangam (Confluence of the famous Indus and Zanskar River), Likir Monastery.
Gurdwara Pathar Sahib located at a distance of 40 kms from Leh, was constructed in 1571, in memory of Guru Nanak to commemorate his visit to this region. Magnetic Hill is the place where you will see your car, with its engine turned off, move upwards on a Steep slope. It almost sounds unbelievable. 
The Sangam is the place called Nimu where the Zanskar river and Indus rivers merge. At  Sangam you can enjoy rafting as well on Zanskar river (optional). India name is based on this great  River – Indus.


Likir Monastery - The Likir Monastery is the oldest monastery in Ladakh, located around 52km from Leh in the scenic Likir village. Belonging to the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism, the main attraction here is a 75 feet large seated statue of Maitreya Buddha gilded in gold.
There are also various paintings of guardian divinities, murals and thangkas that adorn the walls of assembly halls.
Return to Leh in the evening.
Evening Enjoy shopping at Leh Main Market (Bazaar).
Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 7 Leh – Delhi + Departure

Morning transfer to airport to fly back to Delhi.
On arrival at Delhi have a panoramic city tour visiting India gate and pass by President Palace, Parliament House, etc.
Also enjoy shopping at famous Janpath Market.
Evening in time transfer to International airport for onward flight.
